Our Open Evening for prospective pupils, parents and carers takes place on Thursday 28th September from 4.30pm – 7:30pm located in the Lower School, Heol Gam. This is aimed at those pupils who are currently in year 5 or 6 in our local primary schools.

The open evening is available for parents to find out how their children could thrive in a school with a long tradition of musical, sporting and cultural excellence, as well as outstanding academic performance.

Rated Green 1 A by Welsh Government, recognising its strong performance, Brynteg School offers excellent pastoral care, with a dedicated transition team and a huge range of extra-curricular activities. The school is unique in having separate lower and upper school facilities yet on the same site, which helps pupils as they move from primary to secondary school.

In addition to this there will be open meetings with parents and carers where you will be able to ask questions about any aspect of our provision. These will take place as follows:

Thursday 19th October 6pm – Lower School hall (parents/carers of  years 7/8/9)

Thursday 26th October 6pm – Upper School hall (parents/carers of  years 10/11/12/13)

The meetings are intended to be informal and will be followed up with further meetings in the spring and summer terms.
