The whole of year 11 had an enjoyable morning out at the Skills Cymru Career’s Fayre in Cardiff’s Motorpoint Arena on 11th October. Students were given the opportunity to speak to all of the Welsh universities, where they were given sound advice about future courses and grade expectations. Local colleges were also in attendance. They were also treated to several free goodies from the employers.

Many national employers were in attendance at the event, from Sony to the NHS to CGI Enginnering. Students spoke confidently to a wide range of industries. All of the key sectors were represented and a good day was had by all. Hopefully our year 11 pupils are beginning to realise that there is a career out there for everyone.
