On Friday 10th November Brynteg pupils were involved in a Remembrance service where they observed a minutes silence. This is an important day for the school community. The school orchestra have been diligently rehearsing and their performance during the service should be commended.

In the lower school hall the year 10 GCSE Drama class performed a dramatic piece to mark Remembrance with all Lower school pupils. Sadie Hennessy and Hannah Norman sang a duet from Les Miserables beautifully, alongside freeze frames and mimes of very emotional moments representative of images of war. They chorally delivered two poems and facts truly effectively. What an amazing piece of work and their first performance as a group. Well done year 10!

Joe Elliott from year 9 has been selling poppy merchandise for the poppy appeal. The total amount raised for the appeal was £410.09 Well done!
