Overseas and Residential Educational Visits for 2017-18 and 2018-19. Learning outside of the classroom is an important and valued tradition in Brynteg and every year we offer a range of exciting visits.
Such visits offer an invaluable opportunity to enrich pupils’ learning and to raise their self-esteem. They offer opportunities to experience challenging new activities, to appreciate other cultures and to develop important life skills.
The majority of these visits are to local attractions and companies but also include theatre visits to London and trips to art galleries, museums and science centres in other parts of the UK. However, every year we also offer a number of overseas and residential visits that include a number of activities; this year these range from milking goats in France to supporting local communities in Nepal. The visits below have either been planned or are proposed for the next two years; we hope that the list of these visits will help pupils and parents/carers when they are considering whether to participate in an advertised visit.
